Key Capabilities

Development databases where high availability and scalability are not required internally may be migrated to Standard Edition. Migration from Enterprise Edition to Standard will reduce the licensing footprint and huge cost savings on license and support. The database can be converted back into Enterprise edition if the need arises. Conversion does not erase or corrupt any data in the databases.

Seismic Data Interpretation

Geological volume data visualization and Interpretation in desktop/ immersive environments allow Geologist/ Geophysicist Interpreter to interpret seismic volumes, fault interpretation, attributes. It forms the basis of seismic interpretation for Hydrocarbon exploration in the Oil & Gas Industry.

The 2D, 3D seismic data loads with multiple, surveys, horizons, fault segments, integrated with well planning capabilities, well bore planning, drilling LWD/ MWD logs and volume rendering using stereoscopic environment of the seismic data time and depth project, such Volume attributes creates a large set of seismic data. Those large data sets often in TBs of storage are used for Geological & Geophysical studies, Reservoir Characterization & Management, Drilling & Completion.

Instrumentation Database

Unlike most of the mechanical & rotating equipment’s in a manufacturing Plant. The Instrumentation data and documents are created and managed in a single instance. That acts as single source for Instrumentation data.

With the annual turnaround, engineering projects for expansion or to meet the regulatory requirements there are changes that happens in the plant/ manufacturing asset.

Our team provides expertise in the Instrumentation Database Administration by our Oracle or SQL Server database administrator. The services are to receiving the engineering level final data, documents, loops, P&ID, or the as-built database, it will be merged with operational or production database at site. Our team works closely with site to ensure merger will be tested beforehand using the database submitted at start-up and the necessary procedure developed is followed to successfully merge the databases.

  1. We ensure that database submitted can be setup as a separate domain at site for viewing purposes while the merger is going on
  2. Perform comparison between Instrumentation Database and ERP after the merger of Instrumentation database and find out any discrepancies (instruments in but not in ERP and vice versa.
  3. We work with site and Engineering consultant to extract the details from instrument index including notation of which drawings can be generated for each instrument.  Capture details provided through list of the drawing types that can be generated. Provide a list of Quality Assurance/Control and integrity checks completed for data repository with results including explanation and resolution plan for any outstanding errors.

Real time Production data management

The manufacturing assets/ Refinery/ Chemical Plants produce various type of real time process data related to production, pressure, temperature, level indicators, etc. through sensors at plant floors. Across a diverse range of industries historian is used to collect and store process data in real time. The time series data structure records data from process control systems (ex. PLC, DCS) into a very compressed database as archives. That gives abilities for Plant Operations and maintenance teams to visualize real time data as well as easily look back at historical data (years ago). This gives ability to visualize data for better business decisions for performance improvement, product quality, asset management, analyze actionable data.

Following best practices, we follow Tag naming convention that helps to assign Tag name with unique storage place in Historian System for a specific stream of data

Hydrocarbon Accounting System

Hydrocarbon Production Accounting is facilitated by PDMS, the Production Data Management System. A key component of Industrial IoT (IIoT) for oil & gas services, PDMS enhances your ability to manage your digital oil field through true information management, cloud applications, and digitalization.

PDMS – The Production Data Management System (PDMS) is required to collect, validate, and aggregate field data (production volume and operating parameters), back-allocate production data to wellheads (well completions) and feed processed data through the flow network into RA (Revenue Accounting) daily.

Data Validation and Reconciliation – The critical part of the flow is to validate data at every stage. The underlying PDMS (DCS, Historian) have validation checks on engineering data limits and basic filtering. That includes a quality filter (analog, value, timestamp check) and consistency in units (e.g., USC, SI) and range (e.g., MMSCMD, etc.).

Accounting – The accounting aspects are taken into Revenue, Income, Expenditure, Assets, and Liabilities. We can account for hydrocarbon produced, internal use, hydrocarbon-flared/ re-injected, and sold, with statements generated for internal and external reporting based on well, field, and block-wise.

Report and Forecasting – Based on the current performance analysis (daily allocation of hydrocarbon), future forecasts can be estimated (production forecast numbers). Reporting supports the decision-making process of management. Analyze the profit potential versus definite.
